IT ALL STARTED WITH MY OWN KIDS

    After a vaccine injury that led to our firstborn reacting to most things applied to his skin, I began making some natural skin products at home, like lotion, baby powder, and bath soaks, which didn’t irritate his sensitive skin. Over time, with the help of an Allergist, a Dermatologist, and just a Mother's observation, I realized that most products on the market could not, or should not, be used on our son. I began to research. I questioned anyone who might have knowledge or experience from whom I could learn. I explored natural remedies by reading books and attending classes. Ultimately, I gained a new respect for all of the plants God has made available to us. Plants, when used knowledgeably, can help us heal.

    While my son’s body began to recover from the initial toxins, his skin remained highly sensitive. Healing his eczema is still a work in progress, so I have remained vigilant in not applying anything topically that we would later need to detox out.

    Round two began when our second baby came along. We discovered that she reacted to diaper wipes, some diaper brands, chlorine, and sunscreens. Thankfully, I was already deep into natural healing methods by this point, so it was a much easier adjustment to take care of her skin.  However, a yeast-like rash, which she developed as the result of a chlorine reaction, and which lingered even after two months of prescription creams, led me to dive into my books again. The outcome of my research was the formula of Plantain salve I now sell. Within two days of applying the salve, her rash cleared!*

    Considering the excellent results we had for my daughter, I didn’t hesitate to give my friend some Plantain salve to try when I learned that her baby also had a yeasty rash. And, guess what?
